Our independence
Inspection and audit are only valuable if they are impartial. These are the rules we apply.
01Who we work for
On each job, QUALITAS TR works for the party that appoints us, usually the buyer. Our findings are reported to that party. We do not change findings at the request of the supplier.
02Conflicts of interest
We do not inspect or audit products or processes that we have designed, manufactured or consulted on for the supplier in the same scope. Engineers declare any personal or commercial relationship with a supplier before assignment and are reassigned where needed.
03Fees and gifts
We do not accept fees, commissions or gifts beyond ordinary hospitality from suppliers we inspect or audit on behalf of clients.
04Consultancy separation
Where we support a supplier through development work at a buyer's request, that work is transparent to the buyer and kept separate from any inspection release decisions.
05Reference framework
Our working methods follow the impartiality and competence principles described in ISO/IEC 17020 and the auditing principles of ISO 19011. This is a statement of practice, not a claim of accreditation.
