05Standards and requirements
Machinery placed on the EU market falls under the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, replaced by the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 from January 2027. Conformity assessment is the manufacturer's responsibility; FAT and inspection verify contractual requirements.
